Meghan’s Story
Meghan grew up in Rochester, NY, spending most of her days training in ballet and later falling in love with theatre. Whenever she did have free time, she loved visiting her grandma’s lake house to ride the jetski or have a bonfire. Dance and theatre eventually brought her to NYC, and now she is obtaining a Masters in Education from Hunter College. She always thought she’d end up with another artist, but then she met Stephen. His kindness, steadiness, and the way he showed up for her made her realize she had found someone truly special.
Stephen’s Story
Stephen grew up in South Brunswick, NJ, in a warm, close-knit family where humor, loyalty, and being yourself were always encouraged. He spent his childhood playing sports and learning the value of showing up for the people you love. After moving to Hoboken to start his career in software, he hoped to find someone who shared his values and love for adventure. When he met Meghan, he was immediately drawn to her passion, independence, and huge heart. He knew early on that she was someone he could build a life with. Today, he loves her determination, her loyalty, and the way she makes him smile every single day.
Our Story
Meghan and Stephen met on a first date at a board game café, where they played The Game of Life, a fitting way to dream about the future. They quickly built a bond through shared adventures, from hockey games to Broadway shows. They have also gone on many incredible trips to places such as Mexico, Alaska, London, and Dublin. They balance each other perfectly in so many ways.
Stephen proposed at Meghan’s grandma’s lake house on a rainy day; right as he knelt down, the rain stopped. Now they’re excited to build a home together, start a family, and experience a lifetime of “firsts” side by side.
